High Ropes

Location:  Columboola EEC

Students of all ages and abilities can challenge themselves on our High Ropes Adventure Courses here at Columboola EEC.  We believe in encouraging each student to set their own individual challenges.  Through teamwork and individual effort students will discover more about their levels of persistance and resilience.

Columboola EEC currently has two climbs, a static course, giant swing, flea leap and flying fox.

Health and Physical Education

Year 5-6:  Practise specialised movement skills and apply them in a variety of movement sequences and situations (ACPMP061)

Year 7- 8: Practise and apply personal and social skills when undertaking a range of roles in physical activities (ACPMP086)

Year 9-10: Devise, implement and refine strategies demonstrating leadership and collaboration skills when working in groups or teams (ACPMP105)

Personal and social capability

Year 5-6:  describe the influence that personal qualities and strengths have on their learning outcomes

Year 7-8:  make a realistic assessment of their abilities and achievements, and prioritise areas for improvement

Year 9-10:  assess their strengths and challenges and devise personally appropriate strategies to achieve future success
