Orienteering is a sport, which combines outdoor adventure with map reading and navigational skills.
It involves navigating through a designated area with the aid of a specially produced map to locate checkpoints (controls) on various natural and man-made features along the way, such as a boulder, track junction or bench seat.
Depending on age group and skill level, students will work inside school grounds and in nearby Columboola bush environment.
